Effective selling starts with understanding the customer — and your own style of working.
Effective Selling is a development programme that helps participants better understand their own sales preferences, conduct sales conversations consciously and build relationships based on trust. It combines knowledge of communication styles with a practical approach to the sales process.
Participants discover their preferred sales style and learn to recognise that clients differ in their needs, decision-making styles and expectations of a salesperson. As a result, they can better adapt their communication, ask more pertinent questions and steer conversations more appropriately to the situation.
A key element of the programme is the six-stage sales process model, which structures activities — from establishing contact and exploring client needs, through presenting solutions, to agreeing next steps and developing the relationship.
The aim of the programme is to cultivate a conscious, flexible approach to sales that enhances both the customer experience and the achievement of business objectives.

How does the programme work?
- 01
Discovering your sales style
We explore individual communication preferences and how they influence relationship building, persuasion, and sales activities.
- 02
Discovering different client styles
We learn to recognise differences in communication styles, decision-making, and responses to offers. We practise adapting the conversation to a specific client without losing our own authenticity.
- 03
Exploring the six stages of the sales process
We structure the sales process and look closely at the purpose of each stage. We learn how to move from initial contact to identifying needs, tailoring a solution, and agreeing on next steps.
- 04
Translating knowledge into practice
We work with real examples and sales situations. We practise communicating with different types of clients and identify opportunities to refine the way you lead conversations.
- 05
We implement a new approach
Participants define specific actions that will help them use the tools they have learned in everyday work and consciously develop their sales competencies.
