For you

EFT Tapping

EFT Tapping is a method of working with emotions and stress that combines mindfulness of one's own experiences with gentle tapping on specific points on the body, supporting emotional regulation and tension reduction.

Description of an EFT session

EFT Tapping session — a woman with closed eyes gently touches the area around her temples, with a therapist sitting opposite her

During the session, we look at what is difficult for you — emotions, tension, troubling thoughts, or situations that provoke strong reactions. Through tailored tapping rounds, we work with the discomfort you are currently experiencing, staying in touch with your physical sensations and needs.

EFT Tapping can support emotional regulation, reduce perceived stress and cultivate a more supportive relationship with yourself. We work at a pace tailored to your capacities, honouring a sense of safety and your readiness to engage with difficult emotions.

Sessions are held individually, and their number and frequency depend on your needs, goals, and the nature of the difficulties you bring.

Who is it for

EFT Tapping can be helpful for people who:

  • are experiencing stress, tension, or emotional overwhelm;
  • experience fear, anxiety, frustration, or anger;
  • struggle with excessive worrying or racing thoughts;
  • notice strong emotional reactions in specific situations;
  • want to cope better with difficult memories and emotional triggers;
  • find it difficult to wind down after a stressful event;
  • want to develop self-awareness, self-compassion, and emotional regulation skills;
  • are looking for a practical tool that they can also use independently over time.

Outcomes of our work

EFT Tapping can support you in:

  • reducing perceived stress — lowering subjective tension levels in challenging situations.
  • Emotional regulation — developing the ability to stay in touch with emotions without feeling overwhelmed.
  • a better understanding of your reactions — recognising situations, thoughts, and experiences that trigger strong emotions.
  • working with emotional triggers — gradually changing how you respond to selected stimuli and memories.
  • building a more supportive relationship with yourself — developing acceptance, kindness, and a gentler approach to your own experiences.
  • Developing independence — learning a technique you can use as part of your daily care for your well-being.

Everyone responds differently, so the outcomes and pace of work are individual. The goal is to develop greater emotional awareness and discover coping strategies that help you navigate difficult experiences with greater calm and a sense of agency.
